WETLANDS AT GHOST RANCH, NEW MEXICO

The Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, New Mexico discharges it waste water into a special treatment area. Most all of the bad stuff is taken out by a series of wetlands built to clean the water before it rejoins the water table. Even in winter the dead reeds and weeds make for good photo opportunities. I made this picture when I assisted Kent Bowser with a landscape photography class at the ranch in 2001.
