LOST HIGHWAY #2 - HOW IT WAS MADE

Hand holding long exposures while driving through a storm may not make sense, until you see a picture like this. I use a locking cable release and try to hold the camera close to the window to keep the raindrops on the windshield from coming into focus, This was about a two minute long exposure.
